If you have the time and mental capacity to engage in self-initiated acts of creative frivolity, you should consider yourself lucky. Client work tends to take priority these days, and finding a scrap of paper to indulge in a few semi-mindless doodles almost feels like a luxury. And yet, those humble drawings can be the start of something entirely new and inspired.

As I write these words, the trial run of the deck is due to land at my doorstep in a few days, and the launch of the Kickstarter campaign is about two weeks away. So, what better way to use this moment of limbo than to step back and look at the bigger picture?

I love print! I love the mixture of excitement and sheer panic when I'm pressing send to print. To my disappointment, print projects are a rare occurrence these days. But the good news is, as a designer, I can conjure a personal project
